Overview:
The Bachelor of Cybersecurity program provides students with foundational knowledge in network security, ethical hacking, digital forensics, cryptography, and risk management. The program combines theoretical principles with hands-on labs and practical projects, enabling students to protect, detect, and respond to cyber threats. Graduates develop analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills required for entry-level roles in cybersecurity operations, IT security administration, and risk assessment.

Program Learning Objectives (PLOs):
Upon completion, students will be able to:

  1. Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks in IT systems and networks.

  2. Prepare clear, professional reports and deliver presentations on cybersecurity findings and strategies.

  3. Apply critical thinking to analyze threats, detect vulnerabilities, and implement effective security measures.

  4. Demonstrate professional standards, ethical responsibility, and compliance with data protection, cybersecurity laws, and industry best practices.

  5. Conduct research on emerging threats, security technologies, and vulnerabilities, proposing measurable security improvements.

Admission Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent from a recognized institution. Students from any academic background may apply; foundation courses in computing, networking, or mathematics may be recommended depending on prior preparation.

  • Professional Experience: Not required, but prior exposure to IT systems, networks, or cybersecurity concepts strengthens applications.

  • IT Skills: Basic computer and internet proficiency is required.

Master of Cybersecurity (MCS)

Overview:
The Master of Cybersecurity program develops advanced expertise in cyber defense, threat intelligence, ethical hacking, digital forensics, and security governance. The program integrates analytical, technical, and strategic skills to address complex cybersecurity challenges faced by organizations and governments. It is designed for full-time students and working professionals seeking leadership roles in cybersecurity management, risk assessment, and IT security strategy.

Graduates will be able to:

  1. Design, implement, and manage advanced cybersecurity solutions for organizational environments.

  2. Deliver professional presentations and reports on security incidents, assessments, and mitigation strategies.

  3. Apply critical thinking to evaluate emerging threats, develop threat intelligence, and implement proactive security measures.

  4. Exhibit professional standards, ethical responsibility, and compliance with cybersecurity policies, laws, and governance frameworks.

  5. Conduct advanced research on organizational cybersecurity posture, identify vulnerabilities, and implement measurable improvements.

Admission Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information security, computer science, network engineering, or related field from an accredited institution. Other degrees may be accepted case-by-case, possibly with prerequisite courses in networking or security fundamentals.

  • Professional Experience: Recommended 3 years of full-time experience in cybersecurity, IT security, network administration, or related technical fields.

  • IT Skills: Advanced technical proficiency sufficient for graduate-level cybersecurity analysis, research, and strategy development.
